The Firm's Fees

Maître Zied El Air, a lawyer at the Paris Bar and the Tunisian Bar, applies a policy of transparency regarding his fees, in accordance with the ethical rules of the legal profession. The billing method is agreed with the client before any intervention, according to the nature of the case, its complexity and its urgency.

Fee agreement

A fee agreement setting out the scope of the assignment, the method of calculating fees and any expenses is systematically drawn up before any intervention. It forms the framework of the relationship between the firm and its client.

Fees based on time spent

A time-based fee is billing based on the time actually devoted to the case, at an hourly rate agreed in the fee agreement. This billing method is generally used for cases whose scale cannot be determined in advance: litigation, negotiations, evolving advisory assignments. A detailed statement of work carried out accompanies the invoices.

Fixed fees

A fixed fee is a global amount agreed in advance for a defined assignment: drafting a contract, forming a company, a compliance audit, a procedure whose stages are foreseeable. It allows the client to know the cost of the intervention from the outset. Any work not included in the scope of the fixed fee is subject to prior agreement.

Success fees

In some cases, an additional success fee may be agreed, on top of a base fee (fixed or time-based). In accordance with the rules of the profession, a success fee can only be complementary and must be provided for in writing in the fee agreement.

Personalised quotation

For cases requiring a specific approach, a detailed quotation is drawn up after an initial analysis of the client’s needs. Please do not hesitate to contact the firm to present your situation.
